Dear City Garden Community,

The City Garden Summer School program will be a distant learning program this year (per the guidelines of DESE and St. Louis City officials). We will offer a tuition-free program for rising up K–8 students. The preschool program will not be offered this summer. Here are some details about our program…

Session 1 – June 8th to June 26th
Session 2 – July 13th to July 24th

A. All students are encouraged to participate
B. City Garden staff will be organizing and leading the program
C. We will provide resources for your scholar’s Project Based Learning challenge (look for more details from your child’s guide)
D. CG will provide technology/materials that is needed for summer session

Each session can be done independently. City Garden staff will construct a summer program that will cover many academic skills in math, language arts, science and other. Our staff will conduct the weekly meetings to check progress and make sure we stay connected throughout this transitioning time. Each grade will have a closely monitored, age appropriate amount of screen time. We will provide opportunities away from the screen to stay in touch with hands-on learning.

For each week that students participate in Summer School, they will receive something exciting from our City Garden staff!

So that we can move forward with planning and staffing this program, we need to know the number of students who will be participating. If you are interested in enrolling your student(s), please here and complete the form for each scholar you intend to enroll.
