All applicants are welcome to submit their application materials by printing and mailing them in, or submitting their materials online.
Online Submission Process
The Application for Admissions is a web-based form. It is quite long, so review the form in advance and allocate time to submit your application in one sitting. In addition to filling out the Application for Admissions form, applicants must also upload the following documents to their Application for Admissions.
1) Professional Resume
2) Personal Essay – Please write an essay of approximately 400 words describing your reasons for wanting to work with children, your personal educational philosophy, what strengths you bring and what draws you to the Montessori approach to education.
3) College Transcripts – Applicants must submit one transcript from the colleges they attended. If the applicant has received a degree and attended multiple institutions, transcripts are only required from the degree awarding institution. CGM Staff and Faculty: If you already have transcripts on file at CGM, those documents may be used. Send transcripts to institute@citygardenschool.org
4) Tuition Agreement – In order to process your application, the tuition agreement document must be signed and submitted. This document will also be attached to your application documents.
5) Three Adult Learner Recommendation Forms – Each applicant is required to have three individuals submit letters of reference and complete the corresponding Adult Learner Recommendation Form. The recommenders but be non-relatives who can speak of your character and values and some or all of the following: work ethic, academic skills, and experience working with children.
