The mission of the Parent Action Committee is to support City Garden Montessori School through volunteering, committee work, and community engagement.
All parents and legal guardians of children attending City Garden Montessori School are automatically members of the Parent Action Committee (PAC). All levels of involvement are appreciated!
PAC is then comprised of the following, committees:
1. Leadership Committee
2. Anti-Bias, Antiracism (ABAR) Committee
3. Arts Committee
4. Athletics Committee
5. Classroom and Guide Committee
6. Outdoor Space Committee
7. Social Engagement Committee
The mission of the PAC LC is to provide organizational leadership, support the needs of committees, and facilitate collaboration and communication between families and City Garden staff. This committee is comprised of the following individuals.

The mission of the Anti-Bias, Anti-Racism (ABAR) Committee is to support City Garden in fulfilling its commitments to creating an anti-biased school culture, fostering involvement of all parents and guardians, and implementing programming that increases cultural awareness, knowledge, and competence. The goal is to build a welcoming, inclusive climate that promotes and affirms the diversity of our school and community.

The mission of the Arts Committee is to bring more art of all forms to the students at City Garden. This includes but is not limited to dance, music, visual arts, literature, film, design, fashion, hair styling etc.

The mission of the Sports Committee is to support the Athletic Director in our new expanding Sports Program for the students.

The mission of the committee is to support specific classroom needs determined by each guide. The room parents for each classroom work in conjunction with the guides to communicate these needs to all parents in the classroom through emails and/or Sign Up Genius. All room parents are automatically on this committee. Parents, grandparents, and outside volunteer groups support this committee. The committee is also responsible for organizing appreciation days for the guides and support staff. Meetings take place on an as needed basis throughout the school year.

The mission of the Outdoor Space Committee is to support the maintenance of our gardens and grounds.

The mission of the Social Engagement committee is to build community through social events throughout the year. They aim to develop and maintain relationships between individuals and families in our school community. The committee puts on several events for the school and its families. These events are free to attend. Chairs meet with social event chairs throughout the year on an as needed basis.
